Q.   WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE IN YOUR RECYCLING BIN?

Q:   WHAT TIME SHOULD I LEAVE MY BIN OUT FOR COLLECTION?
A:  Our fleet of trucks and collection staff start work very early in the morning in order to make Facility Deadlines and therefore we ask all our customers to leave their bins out the night before collection day.

 

Q:   I LEFT MY BIN OUT AND IT WAS NOT EMPTIED?
A:  If your blue Recycling bin was not emptied~ Please check:

  • Are all materials in the bin are recyclable? Please see Question 1 for the acceptable list.
  • There should be No Black Bags in the Blue bin.
  • Do you have your Paid up label on the bin?
  • Do you have the correct bin out? Check your calendar for the correct week.

 

If your Waste bin was not emptied~ Please check:

  • Do you have your Paid up label on the bin?
  • Do you have the correct bin out? Check your calendar for the correct week.

 

Q:   WHAT HAPPENS AT CHRISTMAS TIME OR BANK HOLIDAYS?
A:  At Christmas or for a Bank Holiday, flyers are put on each bin or you are notified via Text Message, if alternative arrangements have to be made. You can also contact the office if you have any queries.
